Our Story
Our beginnings start in a New York basement in 2004, where almost immediately we became the industry leader in electronics and aftermarket upgrades. Our original mission was to design better circuit boards that literally Upgraded the Engine of your paintball gun and loader. We made a name for ourselves producing more circuit boards than any manufacturer in the sport of paintball.
Since that time, Virtue has transitioned into supplying complete finished products for paintball players. We were no longer content to producing upgrades and accessories that were limited by the original designs of other manufacturer's products.
In August, 2012 Virtue unveiled the Spire 200 paintball loader. Its purpose was to deliver to the best players in the world a jam-proof feeding system, fast tool-less assembly, in an aggressive, light weight, compact design that holds more paint than its competitors.
Exactly one year later the Virtue Spire 260 was born, built around the same features as the Spire 200, but holding 40% more paintballs than competing loaders of the same size. Paintball players and pros alike very quickly learned that the Spire was not just marketing noise, but truly the best performing loader in paintball.
In short order the majority of pro players were using the Spire and it became the loader teams relied on winning the most tournaments in recent history.
Following on the world-wide success of the Spire 200 and 260 loaders, in September 2013 Virtue announced the Virtue VIO, the versatile innovative optic goggle system. The VIO is the most comfortable paintball mask ever designed, featuring a quick change, fog resistant thermal lens, and an innovative versatile design that allows the player to easily change out every aspect of the goggle – from the face mask to the foam, ear pads, goggle strap, and lens.
Again, one year later in 2014, the VIO Extend was released; built around the same successful VIO platform, but featuring a larger facemask to accommodate larger faces, increased flexibility, and more airflow.
Then, in 2015, Virtue released the VIO XS goggle as well as the groundbreaking VIO Ascend, a dual material high-end paintball goggle with a mid-range price. All of the VIO goggles share a common lens and upgrade system, making it the ideal platform for stores to stock and players to use. No other goggle in the history of paintball has come in so many shapes in sizes while offering a common lens and accessory platform.
In 2016, Virtue launched the Spire III loader, a massive improvement in performance, usability, and reliability over the already dominating Spire loader. The Spire III features wireless Bluetooth connectivity to the player's smartphone for easy control of settings and updating of software.
The Spire III 280 loader launched in 2017, continued the tradition of the Spire 260, this time packing 280 paintballs in a loader no bigger than the prior 260.
Additional Virtue products, such as Breakout Pads, Elite Pod Packs, Press Flick PF Pods, and the powerful Clock III chrono contribute to the Virtue Paintball line-up. No other company in paintball history has produced so many groundbreaking products in such a short period of time.
And most importantly, no other company in paintball is depended on by so many players and athletes alike to provide them with paintball gear that is Built to Win™.
